The Rising Together Retreat


Lauren Klein, Esq., LL.M. is an estate planning and tax attorney, mindset coach, and founder of Flourish Law Group — a boutique law firm serving clients across Florida.

  • OVERVIEW

    A passionate advocate for wellness within the legal profession, Lauren has hosted multiple retreats focused on mental health and holistic wellbeing for women in law. Her work earned her the 2024 Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) Award for Mental Health + Wellness and national recognition including a feature in Yahoo! Finance. She is also the creator and host of The Legal + Wealthy Podcast.

    Our agency was engaged to help Lauren bring her vision to life through a collaborative partnership with the FSU Women’s Law Symposium — coordinating a university retreat, lunch and learn, and wellness experience for law students in Tallahassee.

    THE CHALLENGE

    Following a campus tragedy at Florida State University, law students returned to campus carrying the weight of collective grief on top of the already demanding pressures of legal education. There was a clear and urgent need for a dedicated space — one that prioritized mental wellness, emotional resilience, and community. Building it required the right university partnership, sponsorships, venue, catering, and programming to deliver a meaningful experience at no cost to students.

    OUR APPROACH

    We reached out to the FSU Women’s Law Symposium to establish a collaborative partnership and co-host the retreat on campus. From there, we managed every element of the event end-to-end:

    • Sponsor Outreach & Activation — Secured two brand sponsors, Weylyn Apparel & Henny Swimwear and HydroMATE, to provide product support and elevate the attendee experience.

    • Venue Coordination — Secured an on-campus venue at Florida State University suitable for both the outdoor yoga session and the indoor lunch and learn.

    • Instructor Booking — Partnered with Rising Om Yoga to provide a certified instructor who led the guided movement and mindfulness sessions.

    • Catering Partnership — Coordinated with the FSU Women’s Law Symposium to arrange a catered lunch for all attendees.

    • Pre-Event PR — Drafted and distributed a press release to generate awareness and drive student attendance ahead of the retreat.

    • Post-Event PR — Issued a follow-up press release capturing the event’s outcomes and Lauren’s reflections to extend the story and amplify her platform.

    • 30 Attendees — The retreat welcomed 30 FSU law students, creating an intimate and meaningful community experience.
